As Trade & B2B Marketing Manager, you will: 


  • Support the development of comprehensive B2B and retail marketing plans to achieve annual revenue and performance targets 
  • Lead the implementation of campaigns, activations and initiatives – from planning and briefing, to execution and delivery, through to evaluation and optimisation (including task management of team members) 
  • Manage multiple campaigns and projects end-to-end, ensuring activity is on-brand and on-budget 
  • Own the relationship with key trade publications and manage all trade media activity 
  • Brief internal Creative Studio teams and external agencies, including video content, overseeing the feedback & delivery of final assets 
  • Define KPIs, develop robust measurement frameworks and deliver timely PCAs to ensure continuous optimisation 
  • Oversee all retail marketing efforts, delivering impactful solutions that showcase the Virgin Atlantic Holidays brand while providing tools and strategies to support front-line sellers in maximising their sales effectiveness 
  • Build effective relationships across Marketing, Sales, Retail, Events and Creative teams, and external partners/agencies 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and innovate to deliver quicker, more efficient and cost-effective marketing output 
  • Lead the adoption of AI solutions that enhance efficiency and optimise our processes 
  • Ad hoc support may be required for Cargo marketing activity 


About You


We're looking for someone with: 


  • Strong B2B & trade and/or retail marketing experience 
  • A background in travel (airline, cruise, tour operator, retail travel, TMC, etc.) – strongly preferred 
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills 
  • A strong creative eye – confident in briefing and feeding back throughout the creative process 
  • Experience delivering multiple campaigns simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment 
  • Confidence interpreting insight and turning it into actionable plans 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to simplify complex information, produce high-quality decks and present to senior stakeholders with confidence 
  • Strong leadership behaviours 

It would be great if you also have: 


  • Experience of global B2B marketing and/or adapting marcomms to different markets 
  • Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of airline economics 
  • Experience working with trade media publications (UK and/or North America) 
  • Line or task management experience
